Bike almost complete

Near-final touches on my '05 Honda Aero 750... saddle bags. I got US
made bags; not leather, but good 'nuf and smaller than those that
overpower bikes, making them look like they have "bags under the eyes"
(no pun intended).

I also slapped a set of hiway pegs on the "engine guard" and added a MC
garage door opener I got in the mail today.

So to date, I've added a back rest, luggage rack, saddle bags + chrome
bag guards, Memphis Slims windshield, garage door opener, Paladin
engine guard (another item that does not overpower the bike), hiway
pegs, and a chrome bumper to the front fender. That puts another grand
into the bike, but now it's what I've been wanting.

I got it for a good price - about a grand less than loan value, so
putting in a grand on accessories didn't make me feel too bad. I did
look for used parts to try and save a few bucks, but came up
empty-handed.

One more thing to add... triple light bar, but I'll let the family get
me that for Christmas.
Greg, 3 years from now you'll have a H-D Road King in the garage, or
How much weight do you think you've added to the bike?
About 15-18lbs total *or* the equivalent of a big dinner at the Outback
:)-
Greg
Just one more little gadget. And it's only $$. Then I'm done.
Until the next little gadget.

Dean

The next little gadget will be a loud horn.

maybe an Electra Glide Classic, it'll have about an additional $7K of
chrome and other doodads on it, and you'll have about $1500 worth of
multiple leather jackets, and assorted helmets etc..
HD jackets and helmets, no doubt.

You'll be browing cycle mags and thinking Daytona or Surgis vacations,
and you'll be browing adds for your 2nd bike to add to the stable. Also
planning on trips to the Dragon in the Spring.

The Harley may be your 3rd or 4th bike (but feel free to substitute BMW
or Ducati in there just as easily)

You are a fish on the hook, you just haven't been plopped into the
frying pan yet! LOL!!

(PS I hope you can take a joke, I just enjoy it when someone gets the
fever)
What joke, Steve? I think you are absolutely right! I also bought a
pair of Harley riding boots n clearance for $50 delivered; same boot
would have cost me close to $100 locally. I told my son, it's the first
step towards a Harley. Might be my last given what Harleys go for, but
who knows? :)-
