Happy Independence Day To All

Would like to introduce you to my website, as it seems appropriate to
do so on this Holiday.

No sales involved in this one. This is an informational site only, a
labor of love.

Enjoy your Holidays and please stay safe riding.
Does Duane ride?
Yep, we both do.
Sportbiker or a Harley dood?
There's no mold for Duane and he's not a bike bigot. But I bet you'd
like him, a lot. He's a great guy. Started that website and funded it
himself for many years on his own out of pure respect for the Flag and
the US. After 9-11 it got so many hits that it crashed repeatedly, so
had to find a new server. Then so many people were flying flags it was
nice to see but they tattered and frayed so easily, that's how our
other website was born. To sell high-quality USA made flags.
The flag is nothing but a symbol. Every country has one. What sickens
me is the widespread apathy toward the principals that it is supposed
to symbolize.
Where did you live overseas? What didn't you like about it?
I lived in Mexico and Romania in the early/mid 80's. During that time I also
visited England, Spain, and Greece. It probably isn't fair to comment on
the three places I visited. Modern European countries are nice, but the
standard of living just didn't seem on par with the U.S. Life seemed more
based on needs than wants. People were less stressed out though, and didn't
seem to need to work as hard - I guess that is a good thing for the average
Joe. Not so good for the ambitious.

Mexico suffered from extreme poverty. The pollution in the city was also
very bad.
So you understand the purpose of the EPA then?

Romania suffered from a very oppressive communist rule. I could write an
entire book on how bad life was for people there. You really learn to
So you understand the purpose of gov't powers being subject to checks
and balances?

appreciate what it means to be able to have food on the table at night.
Hopefully things are going better for them now days.

When you look across the world, you see the *majority* of the human
popluation lives under very bad conditions.
True, though even in those third world countries there are elite who
live the good life at the expense of the peasants. Through conservative
policies, our country is on the march to be Banana Republic Numero Uno!
To add to this. I lived in many other countries all over the world
also. And what I witnessed in most 3rd world countries is a 2 class
system. The extremely elite (read rich), their rich could be compared
to our upper middle class though, and the extremely poor. No middle
class.
by foreign goods you mean oil?
no he means computers to post to the net....
Don't be silly amn, he means buying a Buell equipped with Showa shocks
and Dunlop tires...
surely you aren't suggesting that Mike *can't* uphold his mantra of buy
American?
Sometimes I agree with you....

For right now, he rides a Honda like I do. I owned the Harley from
before we met but it's not a model he's interested in. Given a choice,
I think he'd buy a cruiser.
Now that you've come out of the closet Shirl, why still sign "Becky?"

I'll bookmark the site. The minute we get rid of the crime family I'll
proudly display ol' glory from the rooftop once again.
