New Harley Rider

I recently bought a new 06 Sporty 883 and I am loving it. My question

is, if I change my exhaust to new pipes do I also need to re jet my
carb right away to match the airflow of the new pipes? I also was told
that when changing to aftermarket pipes that I will need to upgrade my
air filter assembly too. Are both of these statements true? If so
please advise on what brand of jets is best for just everyday riding, I
am not looking to have a race Harley just a Sporty with a little more
Too late, you bought a girlie bike, live with it.

Better a Sporty than any Jap bike.
If you don't, you made a mistake. Air and fuel have to be fed in at the proper
ratio, around 14:1'ish. If you add more air (pipes and air cleaner), then you need
to add more fuel (jets) to maintain the proper ratio.
If someone sells you parts because they don't need a rejet, then they don't
change the ratio. Which means they perform exactly the same as the parts you took
off. You just wasted a lot of money.
