What flip front helmet?

I am intending to buy a new helmet for under £200. I want a flip front
Much better than a flip 'back'.

My Dad has a Shoei ans swears by it.

(less hassle for a full-time glasses wearer). I quite fancy a Caberg
Justissimo as I like the retractable sun visor and I have read some
favourable reviews. They had an XL size on offer at my local bike shop and I
liked it but it was just a bit too big for me so an L should be fine. Any
other suggestions?
I bought one of these two ears ago,

Made in Germany, bit obscure but total solid build.Vented good so
doesn't steam much, easy to flip visor one notch to clear steam and
flip to put my glasses on.Not much engine noise even on
my,"Mongrel" bike with Harley sportster cans(And he is noisey).
Last I checked these things, I got the Schubert for build quality.
However, there is really only one answer to your question: narrow down
your selection to the ones that fit your head.

If you have more than one choice, I'd personally pick the quietest one,
but everyone has different priorities.
This was my comment about the Justissimo back in october. My thoughts
havn't changed in another 2k mikes. Except for item [2] below because
I have now got a Powerbronze DB screen and its much better at speed.

I've got a Justissimo. I've had it about three months now and I think
I've got the measure of it. It's a great touring helmet [1], but not
so good on a sportsbike.

The flip up front doesn't go up high enough in my opinion. When its
fully up it still sits in my view and annoys me. Not that I need to
see the tops of the trees to ride the bike, but it still annoys me.

Yes, its noisy, but as you said its whats expected. If I travel any
distance I wear earplugs.

The anti fog visor is good, but not as good as my old Uvex wing. On
wet days the visor still gets condensation in it and it does let water
in too. Not loads, but enough.

It feels nice and light enough for me, gives plenty of vision, the
integral sun visor is useful and it looks good. Oh, get a size
smaller than you think you need. It loosened off very quickly.

Hope this helps.

[1] Pan, Harley or any sit up style, less than 90mph bike. [2]
Although an FJR 1300 has a good enough screen that might make it OK.

[2] At any speed above 90 the flatter front of the Caberg makes lots
of drag so I've discovered. If one were to try and ride a GSXR1000
like mine in the 120 plus range you just might find yourself fighting
for breath with the chinguard pressed tight against your face and the
visor agains your nose. So I've heard.
Some of us have chins that have their chimpanzee dna less well expressed
than others I suppose.
Whats the flipup helmets they use on the TV program about cowboy
builders etc? The two blokes on the blackbird making bad jokes. They
look as if they sit up higher and don't block the view so much.
I'm pretty sure they're Shoei.
That'll be fun, seeing you trying to negotiate a test ride for your next
helmet before you buy.
