FS, Govt Suprlus cycle's, canada, 2005 sporty, only used for noise testing.

Hiya all.
I get these things sent to me every couple of days, first one ever for
motorcyles. These have mostly been used for noise certification for import
to Canada. Don't know anything more than what's in this pdf.
Are you going to the auction?
I was until I re-read it. I normally only get the notices for the Vancouver,
Vanc. Island area, not sure how I got on the Ottawa list. Wish I could though,
I've made some good deals on electronic surplus gear from their offices out
this way.. Picked up a fully working marine radar set for a friend for $25 CDN
a few months ago.
I suspect there might be a bigger demand for automobiles than marine radars,
although you are in Vancouver so I could be wrong. I passed it on to my
brother in Ottawa and told him that if he has to time to drop by, I gave him
a list of the bikes I'd be interested and how high I'd be willing to go
without the wife cutting my nuts off. I never realized how ugly a
Moto-Guzzi Stone was until I looked it up.
Well duh! Look who they named it after.
Ugly is as ugly does. And the Stone don't do nuttin ugly! If you look
at it agian, it is pure motorcycle, and acts like it. No frills, just a
kick-ass machine. But of course, not everyone wants (or can handle) a
real motorcycle anymore these days ;~O

I can say that if these things are sold like other auction items, I've picked
up stuff for about 5-10% of new, so a brand new sporty could probably be had
cheap. There's a bunch of Eyetailian and other imports, but I don't have a
clue as to that they're worth.
