Overpriced wrecks - Guzzi content.

On my hunt for a Guzzi, I've been looking up the ebay ads every day.
This one today caught my eye, sold by DK Spares, starting price of £999
for what looks pretty much like a wreck.

Tempted on an S3? (Maybe not but they can be pretty)

I cant see why anyone would pay such a price for such a wreck.
Is it me, or am I missing something?

Broken for parts it would easily reach =A3999 - some desirable bits on
something that may not take a great deal of cash to make passable.
I'd say the wheels alone are =A3300ish.
Having said that I wouldn't pay a grand for it.
You can better T3s for the same money. However, I'd disagree with JB
and say a nice low mileage T3 starts at =A31500.
That one in gloss black, sensible bars and pattern exhausts would go
for more than a thousand.
