WTD: Big Guzzi.

As subject, I'm after a 850cc+ Guzzi.
Age immaterial, though must be in running order, or pretty close to
running order.(A 'project' bike would be looked at at the right price,
i.e., less than £400)
The ideal bike would be an 1100 Sport, faired, from around 1996-98.
Otherwise, a mid 80's unfaired bike would be OK.
Must be the road versions, no customs/Californias please.
Thanks for any pointers.
Alan.
I think you wil be lucky to find an 1100 Sport Carb for £400, unless it is
one where the gearbox has already blown up. (No cush drive on the Sport
Carb).
Just note the point I made about the lack of cush drive on the Sport Carb
models. They do trash their gearboxes, and it can be expensive.

I'd love another Guzzi but the garage is a bit full. Maybe when (if) I
sell the TL...
