Erk... help!

I've just sold the TL on ebay.

The new buyer seems pretty keen, and was hoping to colect it tonight.
So I hurriedly dug out all the paperwork only to find that I've only
got half the registration document, the bit with the transfer slips.

Should I have the whole document, or is this normal?

I do have a very dim memory of a Post Office clerk taking half of *a*
registration document and the Guzzi also seems to only have half a
document, too.
You don't give that bit to the new owner anyway, so you should be OK.

I'd just give him the bit he's supposed to have, note his details down,
apply for a new V5 and then send it off with his details on.

It'll obviously take a bit longer, but hopefully should work out OK.
only problem is that the new owner has to sign too
