Well, after 16 weeks the Welsh dibbles finally got round to sending me
a summons.

Guzzi and I were clocked with a handheld laser gun at 1025 metres
travelling at a speed of 98mph on a 60 limit single carriageway A road.
Plod has stated traffic as moderate, visibility good and weather
sunny.
With a bit of abject grovelling what should I expect from the lovely
Magistrates of Dolgellau?

Problem is, I was doing a ton when I saw the unmarked car so his
inaccurate laser reading is, er, quite accurate.

Why would Aslef give me a lawyer out of the members' money for
something that is totally unrelated to my or their employment or the
aims and values of the Labour movement?

I was done for 78 in a 50 and paid 4 points and 225ukp so I reckon about the
same for you. It's Wales remember and the Chief Constable don't like
speeding hooligans on motorbikes.

16 weeks seems a long time, what is the law with time barring etc in
welshland?

One month ban and a fine of 37 leeks. Or hope for magistrates as useless
as the ones I had, in which case 4 points and 300 quid.

Bin any speeding summons...............you have a good chance of getting
off!
