New Ducati 1098 "Superbike".

Now this thing looks nice. The front end looks a bit R1sh though...
160HP Vtwin. THAT would be fun :)
Very nice. I think I'll keep my 916 street tracker, and trade the S4Rs
Testastretta in on one of those. Should make a real nice trackday bike.
Fun but not as fun as Ducati's own Desmosedici 200HP V4... I believe Ducati's
racing future in the V4 not the V2... because big twin... big cylinders... big
Never ridden a V4, but I have to say the way the RC51 puts the power to the
ground has really grown on me. This new Ducati is reasonable priced, for
a Ducati....

Thanks for the link Steve. I think it's now about time to sell my
954.... :-)
Not a bad price for a Duc either. I think the lights looks CBRish.
The R1 and CBR both took styling cues from the Ducati 916, though.
As good as I think the newest versions of the R1 and CBR look, the
916/996/998 still has a better looking front end.
I think the 916 style is one of the best looking I've ever seen.
Follow the crowd, Jamin. We wouldn't expect any less;)
Maybe the crowd followed me.

Don't forget the 916 is based on a HONDA!!! back in 1992 Massimo
Tamburini felt so passionate about Mitsuyoshi Hohama's NR750 upon
which he promptly tore up his 916 design and started again...
amazingly, the NR prototype was first displayed in 1989! and
remained largely untouched when production commenced in 1992.
Honda's stunning 1992 NR750... complete with wedge-styling...
fox-eye headlights... single-sided swingarm and underseat
exhausts... that Tamburini freely admits copying the styling cues and
produced the 1994 916 with wedge styling... fox eyed headlights...
single sided swingarm and underseat exhaust...
Well it's too bad Ducati could never build an engine like that quasi
Honda V8;)
You misspelled "would."

Yeah, $14K for that isn't *THAT* bad.
Doesn't scream "italian" to me - looks Japanese.

You know, of all the new designs out so far this year, the
one that speaks to me the most is the euro-Sportster.
Sportster-Shmortser
I don't consider that a new design - it's been out a while. And yeah,
it's pretty sweet.

Not as sweet as a Boost King though...

That one I like as well... Now if they bring that one to the states...

And if you'll excuse me, I must now go shoot myself.
Be careful, there are gun laws in Hong Kong. You could end up getting
caned for that.
I thought that was Singapore?
Why, just because the HD looks like a nice bike?
