Silverstone WSB spoiler and should twins go to 1200cc?

A very entertaining couple of races, pity Nori just couldn't hang in at the
end of both races also a pity James Tos had to start from 14th otherwise he
may have been in with a shot.

I don't know what to make of Ducati wanting gets twins to 1200cc next year,
certainly Bayliss and his bike suggest the rules are fine as they are.
Ducati say the fours can't get the power down to harness all the HP they
produce but as tyre technology develops they will and the Duc's will be left
behind as they are now on the limit of what a twin can do.

I think there a certain advantages that twin design has (power
characteristics aside) in chassis and weight distrubution that give them a
leverage in handling that fours will never be able to compete with, but
fours theorectically can produce more power which on a fast track would have
an advantage, personally I think this balances out over a season with the
potentially better handling twins gaining ground on some tracks while the
possibly faster fours on others, with the current state of affairs I really
think things are even stevens and no rule changes are required and the twins
(Duc's) should for the moment at least keep to 1000cc.

Any comments?
