Stoner/Capirossi/Ducati

Everyone's talking about how Ducati/Bridgestone have really moved
forward this year. But how much of this is due to the package being

Least Loris does not ride around for points, like last years *world*
[cough] champion, and roberts before too.I see a patten here forming
re USA riders

Not how I saw it all all. I was just watching the season finale last night
and up to the point I finally fell asleep - about 8 laps top the end -
Hayden was pushing very hard, even though Rossi had hardly a chance.

Hopper is not like that, maybe becuase he has a bit of "anglo" in him?

comparatively better, and how much is due to the riders. While I think
Capirossi is a good rider, he doesn't seem to be doing much better on
the bike this year than last, it's only Stoner who is winning races.
And there's the matter of Bayliss guest-riding the bike and romping
away with the win.
Could it be that Capirossi wasn't riding as well as we thought last
year, and the bike/tyre package was therefore better than everyone
thought?
This is a straightforward, rather than rhetorical, question.

I stick with my theory that it's plain and simple "new dad - less risks".

I read somewhere else that the opposite is the case. Firstly, you're
genes have now been passed on, so genetically your bodies job is done.
And secondly, now there's a mouth to feed you better get out there and
bring home the bacon.

Of course you need to be alive so that you can impose upon your children :)

Mark will be along shortly with a statistical analysis of top riders
results pre- and post- fatherhood over the last 25 years.

*lol* and it'll be just as interesting as all the rest of his
posts
