After much soul searching, I've pretty much come to the conclusion that
the world is more likely to run out of petrol well before my arms gets
well enough to handle the Ducati's clutch well. Yes, I know it's

I'll post it to the Ducati Sporting Club site, in case one of the
old duffers on there fancy a crack at it.

Thanks, much appreciated.

possible to get Tony Brancato to fit an longer clutch actuating arm but
the problem is the whole combination of ergonomics - too much weight on
the arms *and* a heavy clutch.
It would be a pity to have the bike standing in the garage unused
forever, so I'd rather have it go to someone who appreciates it and can
ride it.
The details:
1980 Ducati 900SS Darmah, approx 12000km on the clock, believed to be
genuine. Taxed and MOT'd, although the MOT is running out this month.
Should be easy to get it through again, though. Serviced something like
1k ago, oil changed last year by previous owner which would make it
200-300 miles ago.
Very, very nice original condition. It's picked up a couple of minor
scratches due to the paint adhesion being very, erm, Italian but if
this bothers you the bike comes with the necessary touch-up paint. It
also comes with a replacement screen - the original (still on the bike)
has a crack in it that was fixed in time-honoured planeisti fashion by
drilling a small hole into the end of the crack.
Bad points - the foam grips need replacing and the rhs can is showing a
bit of rust at its joint with the downpipe.

Looking for around GBP 3250.
Bike is in Ashford, Kent.
