New Computer

Kewl, I bought this new computer down the boozer and it was already set up
wiv all this internet stuff, hi everyone
I'll have a pint of Spitfire, old chap.
If you can get it open, don't look inside the dvd drive. I'd go and
wash your hands, then wipe the keyboard down too. And the screen.

In fact, it's probably best returned to the police. It's probably got
more DNA "watermarking" than you'll ever be able to scrub off.
ffs that didn't last long did it.
That one probably belongs to the bloke that just bought your nicked
computer..
Could this be the whooshiest thread ever?
I think you and I may be the only ones who got it....
Many of us "got it" but didn't want to stop the usual suspects
making fools of themselves in public. :-)
Ah. Fair game, that.
I didn't get it at first, but fortunately (and usually for me) managed
to keep my ignorance to myself.
I think I missed a post along the way.
I don't think you did. You just got well whooshed is all.

I saw 1 post saying WC had been burgled, and another saying he'd bought
Consider the possibility that the post 'from' WC saying he'd bought a
PC in a pub wasn't actually from WC at all.
Oh, ok.

a pc from the pub.
Me too.

I'm guessing this isn't the full story.
I'm guessing it is.
Check it carefully for medical details of people you don't know, then
blackmail them.
It's probably your nicked one.
Is there a bit of whooshing going on here?
Dear, oh dear.

Cut back on the Phyllosan, old man.
What? What? WHAT?
You are Sheila Browlowski, AICMFF dreidels.
You are Harry Secombe AICMFF Yiddle-I-Pos (Poes?)
Don't you just hate it when UKRM makes you web-search?
Christ no - it's my continuing education.
You just slow down.
Ah.

Far too subtle for me.
To be fair, most things are, tho.
Sadly true.
One only needs to look at your collection of motorcycles to know that
subtlety is not your main suit.
For a moment there I thought you were describing some ancient weaving
technique.
Quite. I'm more your 'loom and blunder' type of chap. Still, it's stood
me in reasonably good stead through life so far, and I fear it's far too
late to acquire subtlety now. I shall work with what I have, little as
it is[1].

[1] We'll just take that as read, don't bother.
