Tech Question: Prep ducati after sitting for 5 years

Hi all..
I am no mechanic but I recently got a pieces and parts Ducati
In that case, probably ought to talk to a ducati mechanic, or look over a
shop manual.. Apparently you have internet access, so check around for one.

Monster 900 1993. It has been sitting for about 5 years and I am
wondering what tips you all have for prepping it to be started. Note
the carbs are fine luckily he flushed and cleaned them prior to storing
it.
I am assuming I should over fill the oil as full as I can so that I
can soak the gaskets but other than that I don't really have a clue.
It would seem to me this is a good way to over pressurize the system and
make it leak. The gaskets will have oil contact either way...

Once I get it to start I will take it in and have the shop run through
it. I have been working on the thing for the last few months and I want
to have the joy of turning it over.
Thanks all for the help!
