Ducati Monsters

Recently, I remember seeing a buying guide to Ducati Monsters in a magazine.
I have checked my back copies of " Bike" and it's not in there, does anyone
else recall this article?
I am interested as the Z1000 buying trip ( see my recent post) ) didn't
result in a purchase, but test rides next Thursday, on a Ducati S2R, (2006
Why not?
Sat on it , spend ages looking at and thinking about and came to the
decision that I didn't like it, nice bike, apparently very fast and fun, and
that stuff, but it lacked character I just couldn't make myself *want* it.
Never really considered a Ducati, always thought of them as unreliable, but

700m £5000), and a Speed Triple, (2002 4000m £4000)
Duke poss a bit slow and the Triple a bit old 'though
/me ponders cancelling Sprint ST order......
If I was buying a Monster, I'd buy the basic 750 version - reliable
engine and the old two-valve Monsters look *so* much better than the
watercooled 4v bikes. But that would be even slower.
