Jerry Burgess - mind games master

Well, it's pretty clear that a/ Jerry Burgess thinks a lot of Casey
Stoner and b/ he's getting into his head (as he ought to)

What an opening salvo:

"To see Casey making a mistake late in the race like he did in
Valencia, he's got a bit to learn but with stability at Ducati it
could be good for him.
I said to some of the Ducati guys I hope you're not pulling too many
of them out of the gravel trap next year. One thing that seems a bit
obvious is that he is not strong enough and I think he's been a bit
reluctant to work on that and perhaps he hasn't realised how he's
got to work on that side."

So he's into him for falling off and being weak. Burgess (and therefore
Yamaha and therefore Rossi) must consider Casey a top 3 contender and
have decided to get into his head as soon as possible.

Will it work?

I think it might until Casey matures some more and lets it feed his
hunger to win. Hell, hate to see him become the new Gibernau!!

Cheers

Who's Jerry Burgess?
I think he's related to that Jeremy bloke.
