Where were the Buell's?

Why would you expect that they'd be participating in a BMW race?
It wasn't a BMW race.
It was MotoST.
There were Triumph Thruxton's out there too.
And the closest competition to the winning BMW was the EMGO M4 Suzuki
SV1000.

I wonder how the Triumphs did vs. the Buells.

The difference being the Thruxton is a wayback machine bike, and the
Buell is brand spanking new technology as far as chassis goes.
I looked at the pics and perused the text and only saw BMW info. After
I posted I read it more carefully and saw a blurb about a Suzuki pit
mishap, but didn't see any other brands mentioned. From the writeup, it
still seems like pretty much a BM affair. Have any other sources?

FWIW, I find that black and red Firebolt hot as hell. Don't know why
either as I've never found those that enticing in the past. What I'd
really like is that paint scheme on the Lightning S (long model) and
the Firebolt ass end. Since they've extended the swingarm on the long,
I'm not sure that the Firebolt stuff would bolt on to the longer bike.

I prolly oughtn't be getting too carried away anyway since the blood
letting has begun in the plant.
"Blood letting"? As in RIFs, layoffs, re-alignment, re-organization?

Man, that makes for a stressful work and home life. Good Luck.
Have resume, will travel.
I hear Ireland and the Netherlands are good places for techy types, if only
I were younger (and didn't have 3 big dogs that my wife would never leave
behind...).
I think they have old people and dogs in both Ireland and the Netherlands.
