Squid lives down the street.

Would having a squid in the neighborhood decrease property values?
This kid and two of his helmet less,leather less bandanna and t shirt
wearing buddy's all riding new Gixxers ride down my street at at least
70 mph. The kid was riding a Buell Blast just last year and the
beginning of this year too. Now he is riding a Liter bike with no
protection whatsoever. I feel like giving his parents a heads up. My

I got one guy down the street (not a kid) with his ZX9. He runs it in the
driveway and just revs it for a half hour - no idea why. He can't pull
in the clutch without rev'ing the engine.

guess is they are not too bright though. Niether is their kid. He
looks to be dumb as a rock. That and he can't ride his way out of a
wet paper bag. I don't think this kid is going to survive one summer
with the Gixxer. I hope I am wrong.

Just take the Buell out there and punt him.

So how about sticking some MSF brochures, the dates of the
next few Basic Rider classes in your area, and maybe a
couple of choice crash pics from the web into their mailbox?
Just MIGHT take the hint...

This is probably the wrong place to state 'anti-bike' stuff.....but if
you are worried about the speeds he is riding, contact the local police.
(Remember, you are only a 'nark' if you have broken the law WITH
someone, then turn them in.....this would be more of a civic duty)
It will be too late IF he hits some-one and you get to say 'I told you
so...'.
If that goes against the grain, wait for him to come hooning down the
road and reverse your car towards the road (but stay on your driveway)
to give him a fright (or two?).

If he's that much of a noob that's probably enough to put him into a parked
car. Too extreme. Go over on your bike in gear and explain to his parents
why the their child might not see his next birthday. I probably could have
used that when I was 19.

You never know, he might make it and have a lot of fun along the
way.....I did and I sometimes go 70mph in town (it's amazing how clear
the streets are at 3.30am.....and the cops have gone to sleep)

I don't know if this will work for you or not, but I had co-worker that
didn't get along with one of his neighbors. One day he knocked on their
door and asked, "How much do want for your house?".
He then proceeded to write a check. End of bad neighbor problem.

It would be nice, but I don't have $800,000.00 burning a hole in my
pocket. :-(
Real estate appreciation can have its downside. I can even afford to buy
my OWN house...
