Shirly said there is dust on the blender..So no frooty drinks!! but feel
free to eyeball the top shelf! the plastic's on the bar.
|
There better not be dust on the blender the way Dana and I work it for
our patented Vat o' Margaritas! Speaking of which, I'll have two. Uhhh,
just in case Dana stops in, don'tchaknow. ;-)
|
My Mustang Solo seat arrived today.got the plain one (no studs or conchos)
fits great, look...eh..But one thing I forgot to consider, I was just barely
able to stand flat footed on my 1200C b4, now I'm on Tip toes!!! what a
drag!!
I think Ill sip my drink while i weigh my options..taller boots, shorter
shocks, leg stretching, never stop moving bike, or put stock seat back on.
|
I'm thinking 'high-heels'.
Can we get pics? ;)

Thanks for the shot of Petrone. Im all for never stop moving.

Um, it might be worth it to find out which particular seat he bought.
They do make several, some of which look as though they might not cause much
of a problem.
Mine sits me further back than the Danny Grey seat I put on before.
but that isn't saying much.

You could do a couple of turns on the rack. :) Then you wouldn't have to
change your seat again. Thanks for the beer.

You don't need to be able to flat foot it to ride it--if that were true,
|
Take it to a local upholstery shop and have it cut down.
|
I'd never have been able to buy a Harley. The only HD (well sorta) bike
I ever even sat on that I could flat foot was a Buell Blast. However, a
wonderful side effect of losing a significant amount of weight is that I
can now touch the gound better on my bagger--nearly flat foot with my
boots with the heels on 'em! I'm not recommending that, maybe you're not
fat. But if you aren't, maybe gain some weight so you smush it down some
to flat foot it? ;-)
Seriously, don't worry about it. Being tip-toed isn't the end of the
world and a LOT of us have ridden tens of thousands of miles that way.

Thanks for the shot. Ride alot, it will break in and lower you. Ehhhh, just
kidding, it won't lower you but when it breaks in you'll love it. Great
seat.
