Here we go again...

Some interesting stats:
Half of all Ducati owners in the US also own a Harley,

The US and Italy each generate about 25% of Ducati sales, while Germany, UK,
France, Japan and the rest of the world bring in 10% each,

Then this, "I truly think we need to find an industrial alliance,"

and this little tid-bit too,

But D'Onofrio said it is his opinion that the company could maintain its
strong brand identity, even in the case of a strategic buyout.

I don't see Harley flush with the cash with all the dividends they pay, but
1.6% ?? And that's a new record for them. You jest.

H-D was the first stock I ever bought on my own because
I figured my buddy Bob could be my 'sell' warning. He is
the head salesguy at the local H-D shop, we used to
work together at a Yam shop when I was going to
school. Anyway, a couple times a year I'd go in and
say "hey" and shoot the breeze. And make sure to ask
if I could ride out with a big twin if I had the moola. Answer
was always "six months" or some period of time during which
they'd hold my money.

When, last June ( a year ago) he said "got a couple" I sold
all the HOG stock but a tiny bit for old times sake and the
divs which are pretty measly.

Go fast. Take chances.
Mike S.

who knows what they might do and what would happen to Buell?
Yeah been seeing lots on this lately.
Nobody seems to have mentioned Buell in any of these interviews/articles.
Interesting.
