What bike should I get?
I've managed to wangle redundancy despite having another job lined up
for months and so I've got quite a bit of cash burning a hole in my
pocket.
I want to by a brand new sports bike. (Big trailies are just so last
year)
Which one should I get?

Aren't you buying a house?
I've bought one, and will happen to have a couple of quid left over[1]
on the mortgage.
[1] Weeelll, technically it's for a new kitchen and bathroom...

As Krusty said - get something exotic.
The latest clit bike, which appears to be a ZX10R.
Wot 'e said.
Pound to a penny it's what you'll buy.
How about a lightly-used Mille?
Why not get something cheap now and hang about for the 2007 ones?
I would expect there to be at least a new GSX-R and R1...
Kawasaki ER-5 with CHARACTER. I can source you a used one.
If the "bit of cash" is big enough, an MV Tamburini.
I'd prefer something a little more mainstream as it needs to be
reliable enough to take a few Euro trips each year.
R1? Supposed to be the best of the litre japs for doing miles one
I would look at A BMW K1200S fast enough for most people with 167bhp and a
great tourer. eats up autobahns and fast Spanish Motorways.
Have a test ride and then tell me you didn't like it.
Sorry, no BMW's for religious reasons.
