but after 230 pages of Max Hastings's Armageddon I've just can't take
any more.
It's got the odd interesting fact in but, Christ you would think with
his background, he would know an editor who could tell you don't need
to repeat yourself endlessly....
If I came across the point that the western allies were surprised the
Germans put up such impressive resistance in the winter off '44 20
times it would have been okay... but 21 was just too much.
