unbelievable!!!

I have been looking for a new bike for several weeks. I even posted to
this group to try and help figure things out. It had come to the point
where I was just splitting hairs and not buying anything. I think
SWMBO must of had enough, so yesterday she made up my mind for me.
About mid-afternoon she asked me to hop in the car with her to "run
some errands." In a short time we pulled into the local BMW dealership
where she claimed she "just wanted to look." Well before I knew it, we
were in the back office where she produced a check and I was taken to
my new 06 K1200GT that was already set up for delivery. She had
arranged it all ahead of time. It is not my birthday, our anniversary
or any other special day other than I guess "buy Brian a new bike day."
Unbelievable!!!
Woah, that IS unbelievable! You've got a keeper there, for sure. The
motorcycle, too . . . .

I have a similar story about a visit to a BMW shop. Only in my case,
they didn't have any R1100S models there to test ride, but they did
have an R1200C. One test ride and it was over; my wife left with a
purchase agreement for a Green R1200C and on the way back from
wherever it was we were going that weekend she rode it home . . . .

Different outcome, equally happy husband. (I did find my R1100S the
following year . . . .)
Sounds like you have a good marriage, Brian.
Congrats
Thx,
Robert
Does she have a sister?

As soon as I was shown the bike, and my mouth still on the floor, she
announced that she was leaving for her real errands, and that I should
take the next few hours to go play. Without another word, she turned
on her heal and left. Once I was done with the dealer giving me the
Ahh, the punch line. Have you found out yet what she bought for
herself? Musta been awfully nice to need to distract you with a bike.

tour of the bike I was out the door too.

110 miles later I returned home with a chit eating grin from ear to
ear. I am not sure if it was from knowing what a great wife I have, or
from the bike. Probably both.

This bike is a long way from the 06 Connie I was probably going to
get....
SWMBO is a keeper. :-)

BTW, don't forget to take out the trash, mow the lawn, clean up after the
dog, etc. ;-)
Where do you guys find these women? First Tim and now you. I want one!

Congrats Brian, many safe and happy miles to you, and buy that girl
hehehehehe! Great story and you got my next wish bike too. Congrats!
Got pics?
And maybe some of the bike, too :-)
Here is one of the bike:

Here is one of me and our daughter coming in for a landing after a
quick ride:
Much nicer than the Connie. (as nice as they are)

some flowers or a new car.
