Cool online selling tool - craigsnumber

Auto-expiring + Free + Anonymous phone number = craigsnumber

Very neat if you are selling online and do not want to give your real
numbers.

Who makes money off this? If no one is making money off it, who is
paying for it and why are they doing it? A quick glance at whois for
craigslist.com and craigsnumber.com is interesting. It would appear
at first glance that whoever is behind craigsnumber.com would like you
to think they are in some way affiliated with craigslist.com/.org.[1]
I wonder what craigslist.com/org think of craigsnumber.com? I'm not
saying they are up to anything but if you are concerned about privacy
you might want to check them out before assuming they are linked with
craigslist or even if they have similar trustworthiness.

BTW, EasyRider80, are you also known as easyrider72.blogspot.com?
Are you involved in any way other than as a user of craigsnumber.com?

[1] Personally I suspect the minimalist website design of craigsnumber.com
and their use of the name 'craigsnumber' make it pretty obvious to me
that they intend people to make an association with craigslist, and the
lack of a disclaimer on their page saying they aren't affiliated with
craigslist is a red flag to me. YMMV.
