So are you still heading to Moab for the "love fest"?

Oh yeah. The timing is a little weird. I'm going to try and sell a
bike or two before then. We'll see if I have a new bike to ride or an
old one.

I am up for a more southwesterly route toward SoCal on the return trip
around June 22-24th. Have you ever been to Great Basin NP or Zions NP?
Bryce Canyon or Lake Powell?

I've ridden around/through Zion, Bryce, & Lake Powell several times,
but never hiked much in any of them. Never been to Great Basin. My
itinery is up in the air. Thumper & I could ride to Utah together,
(but if he rides his BMW & I'm on my KLR, he may leave me in the
dust.) Coming back, I thought I'd take an extra week and swing through
NorCal. I can't see riding straight to Utah and then straight back to
SoCal.

Utah ain't as exotic as India, but it is a "peculiar" place.

Landscape doesn't get any more exotic than Southern Utah.
