'cheap repairs'

This is an RSV1000 on ebay. 'Cheap' and 'Aprilia' really don't fit
together.

'ALL CAUSED BY BIKE FALLING OVER AS THE STANDS ARE NOT THE BEST'

Except that the damage is on the RHS.
As Spete's already pointed out, RSVs (and the same goes for Falcos) are
quite "upright" on the sidestand, so have a tendency to fall the
"other"[0] way.
My Tuono isn't and they're basically an RSV Mille, though I suppose it
could have a different suspension height, or even simply more preload
I'm assuming the same sidestand is fitted.

Didn't Ade (the lawyer), ex of this parish, have that happen to his when
the rear tyre deflated?
I've had this happen, but it's hardly a sidestand fault, is it?

The bike is also covered in stickers and has, amongst other things,
cracked clocks and the usual dent in the swingarm.
RSV swingarms look like they're dented from the factory.
Well, it's a known issue where the exhaust gets knocked inward by the
silencer and dings the shiny alloy bit. Mine's got such a ding, but
the one on the ebay bike was quite a significant dent - I'm not
convinced that simply falling over could have caused it.

Think I'll give that one a miss.
Probably wise.

[0] Note: this is not like the "other" bus.
