Travelling the Dolomites

Has anyone travelled through the Dolomites from Graz,Austria via Klagenfurt, Villach,
Lienz to Modena/Bologna via Bolzano/Trento? How long did it take you?
You could do the whole lot in one day taking the main roads/ fwy's...
Or spent 4 weeks meandering around. Any which way you want it, really...
Don't miss the Friuli area (Italy, the stretch just below the Austrian
border with the Slowenian border to the east/ Dolomites to the west).
It's one of the most unspoilt areas left in Italy, tourism in it's
baby-booties.
Not as spectacular as the High Alps, but with a charm all it's own. Unique!
And it's a quick run south to Noale, if you want to check out the Aprilia
factory.
cheers
pete

Heading to Ducati (& other) factory in October & would like to go via the Alps.
Unfortunately won't be on our bikes :( so doesn't need to be on the
twistier stuff. Will have some time constraints.

Thanks for any replies.
